Trust & data protection

The plain version of what Jazzr does with your data, written, so you can forward it to whoever asks the hard questions. The formal wording lives in the Privacy Policy.

The short version

Your documents are used for one thing: answering questions asked of your assistant. They are never shared with another business and never used to train AI models. Conversations delete themselves on a schedule. When you delete something, it's gone, file included. And if your data can't leave your building at all, you can run Jazzr entirely on your own servers.

What we do, specifically

Who else touches your data

Exactly one AI provider, plus an email service. That's the whole list.

WhoWhat they receiveWhy
Groq, Inc. (United States) The visitor's question, the recent conversation, and the relevant excerpts from your documents To write the answer. Under our agreement they do not train their models on it.
Our email provider Your email address Account emails such as sign-up verification.

If that list ever changes, the Privacy Policy changes with it and account holders are emailed.

If your data can't leave the building

Two options, both real:

1. Bring your own model. Point Jazzr at an AI model running on your own hardware. Conversations then never leave your infrastructure, and the list above shrinks to nothing.

2. Host all of Jazzr yourself. The entire system runs on your servers: documents, search, conversations, everything.

Both involve extra setup effort and pricing, and we'll scope it honestly with you before you commit. This is the route hospitals, diagnostic labs and larger institutions usually take.

Voice input: one honest caveat

The optional microphone button uses your browser's speech service, which may send the audio to the browser's maker (Google, in Chrome) to turn it into text. So we recommend, especially for anything health-related, that people don't speak confidential or personal details; typing is more private. The assistant says so itself the first time someone uses the mic. A speech option that avoids browser makers entirely is on our roadmap.

Your side of it

Worth knowing if you haven't been through this yet: under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, when your customers talk to your assistant, you are the one responsible for their data, we're processing it on your instructions. Enforcement powers under that law begin in November 2026.

Practically, that means you need to be able to say what you collect, keep it no longer than needed, and delete it when asked. The controls above are there so you can answer all three with something concrete: a stated deletion schedule, a delete button that works, and a short, named list of who else is involved. If your legal team wants a signed Data Processing Agreement, ask us and we'll send one.

What we're still building

We'd rather tell you than have you discover it. Encryption of stored files at rest, two-step login for business accounts, and automatic removal of personal details from stored conversations are being built now. If any of those are a requirement for you today, the self-hosted route above puts that control in your hands immediately, talk to us.

Questions, complaints, or a data request

Write to grievance_jazzr@1024.in. We aim to acknowledge within 2 working days and resolve within 7. That address reaches a person, not a queue.

If you chatted with a business's assistant and want your data removed, contact that business first, it's their data to control, but you can always write to us and we'll help.
