Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Jazzr, the AI assistant service at jazzr.in. By creating an account you agree to them and to the Privacy Policy.

1. The service

Jazzr lets your business create an AI assistant that answers questions from the documents and web pages you provide, embeddable on your website or shareable as a link and QR code. The assistant is designed to answer only from your content and to say so when it cannot, but AI output can still be imperfect. You are responsible for reviewing that your assistant represents your business accurately before and after you share it.

2. Your account

Keep your credentials confidential; you are responsible for activity under your account. Provide a working email, we use it for essential service messages.

3. Your content and your visitors' data

You keep all rights to the documents you upload. You confirm you have the right to use and share the content you provide.
For your visitors' conversations with your assistant, you are the Data Fiduciary (data controller) under applicable data-protection law, and Jazzr processes that data on your behalf. A signed Data Processing Agreement is available on request via the contact below.
If your audience includes children or your sector imposes special duties (for example healthcare), you are responsible for the consents and notices your audience requires.

Acceptable use for uploaded content: upload the material your assistant should answer from: brochures, price lists, policies, schedules, FAQs, public web pages. Do not upload databases of personal data (for example patient records, customer lists, or employee files); the current version of Jazzr is not designed to host them. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break this rule or the law.

4. AI processing, your model, your servers

Answers are generated using a large-language-model provider (currently Groq, Inc., United States), which receives the question, recent conversation, and relevant excerpts of your content, and does not train on them. If you prefer, you can (a) bring your own model, including a local LLM running on your own hardware or (b) host the entire Jazzr stack on your own servers; both involve additional setup effort and pricing. Contact us to arrange either.

5. Plans and availability

The free plan's limits are shown on the homepage and may evolve. We work to keep the service available and your data safe, but the service is provided "as is", without warranties of uninterrupted availability or of the accuracy of AI-generated answers.

6. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim (for free-plan use, ₹5,000). Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under law.

7. Ending the service

You can stop using Jazzr and ask us to delete your account and its data at any time via the contact below. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms, with notice where practicable.

8. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Questions, complaints, DPA requests and account-deletion requests: grievance_jazzr@1024.in.

9. Changes

If these terms change materially, we will post the new version here with a new effective date and notify account holders by email.
